Jumpstart Your Website

No matter where you are, or how small your operating budget, we can help you improve the success of your website with one  or more of the following website consultation packages we offer.

With each package, we…

  1. Research your competitor;
  2. Analyze your site for effectiveness;
  3. Run reports with our findings and recommendations which you will get via emai;
  4. Spend 30 minutes on the phone or in person with you to go over our findings and answer any questions you may still have.

Option 1 – Website Design and Presentation Jumpstart

How well does your website sell you, your products, or your service?  Are your visitors turned off or motivated to stick around? We'll do the leg work to find out.

Here's what we'll cover:

  1. Website Design and Curb Appeal –
    Is it professional? Attractive? Too busy? Not busy enough? Annoying? We'll let you know if it it initiates a gag reflex and sends them running to your competitor.
  2. Usability –
    Are your visitors confused and befuddled? We'll help you eliminate the confusion.
  3. Architecture –
    Is your content well-organized? Can your visitors find what they are looking for? We'll find out.
  4. Web Copy Presentation* –
    Only 15% of your visitors actually read your copy. We'll review and let you know how you can get your message to them just the same.
  5. Internal Marketing Presentation –
    How good of a job are you doing at selling your wares right within the pages of your website. How well do you present your product or services visually? Do you have a clear call to action? Do you lead them there? Do they follow the breadcrumbs all the way to the cash register?
  6. Competitor Analysis –
    Lastly, we'll let you know how you stack up with your competitors and give you suggestions to rise above.

*This consultation is on presentation only. We do not provide a detailed analysis of ALL your web copy, but we will make some general comments if we find your web copy lacks professionalism, is too verbose or just the opposite, uses the wrong tone for your audience, or in general fails to deliver. We will give you some specific instructions on how to present your copy better so that the message is heard.

Option 2 – Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Jumpstart

Where are you in Google? Can you even be found? What can you do to rise to the top? We'll give you some suggestions on how to do that.

Here's what we'll cover:

  1. Page Rank –
    We'll run a report to see how you rank in the major search engines for your top 3 keywords and compare the results with your key competitors. Then we'll go to work to find the problems that might be preventing you from rising to the top and report back to you with our findings.
  2. Keywords –
    We'll run some keyword reports for the purpose of uncovering hidden gold – keywords you might be missing and that might be keeping you from getting better results.
  3. Links –
    Google considers links coming into your site critical in their assessment of your relevancy. We'll let you know how you are doing in this regard and with the aid of some competitor analysis and yet another report, we'll give you a list of possibilities to grow your list of inbound links. We'll also show you how you can improve your rank with internal linking.
  4. Meta Tags –
    We'll review your meta tags and give you specific instructions on how you can improve them. We'll let you know what Google wants to see and how best to improve your rank and also your click-thrus from the "organic" listings in Google.
  5. Web Copy –
    In the time allowed, we cannot read every word in your site, but we'll read enough to get a general idea of how well your site is optimized for the search engines. We'll give you suggestions on improving your copy to improve your rank, and may even suggest adding more pages to your site to capitalize on more Google queries.

        $299

Option 3 – Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Social Media Marketing (SMM) Jumpstart

SEM and SMM aren't always the right tools for the job. If you rank high in Google already, you may not need SEM, for example. Or if you sell motorcycle parts, blogging may not be a good fit for you. But we'll examine the playing field and come up with some suggestions that just might improve your bottom line.

  1. SEM –
    We'll review your current SEM efforts and make recommendations to improve upon what you already have or tell you how to begin and how best to be successful in your field. Some options we'll explore are Google AdSense, PPC, affiliate programs, banner ads, and email marketing. If you want to engage in a PPC (pay per click) ad campaign, we'll give you suggestions on how best to develop your landing page and your ad copy to get the most for your clicks.
  2. SMM –
    You've heard of viral marketing, well, social media marketing is just that on steroids. In literally a few seconds you can get a product announcement around the world. We'll look at some ways to do that using Facebook, Linked-In, Twitter, blogging, RSS, social bookmarking such as DIGG, video and photo  sharing such as Flicker and Youtube, and make recommendations on what's right for you and your life/work style.
  3. SMM Coming at You –
    Engaging with other social media sites is a great way to build up your inbound links and interest. We'll give you specific suggestions on exactly how to do that.

        $299

Option  4 – The Whole Shebang Jumpstart

Get all three options  for $799 if you have a pre-existing website. For new websites still in the incubator stage, we offer the Whole Shebang for $1,499.  Why does this cost more? Because we also work with your team to develop the strategy from the ground up.

As with each of our consultation packages, you will receive a written report of our findings and recommendations and a 30 minute phone consultation to go over it all and answer any remaining questions you may have.
